While her first love was for modern dance, Joanne shifted the focus of her studies to marketing and management. She then turned to the world of design, where she would quickly make an important encounter: that of her future business and life partner Louis Gagnon. A series of important events followed: the founding of Paprika in 1991, and the birth of their three sons in 1996, 2000, and 2001. Today, 25 years later, it is this dual dynamic that allows us to better understand Paprika's success—over 700 awards, a book published by Pyramid showcasing their work, an exhibition in Paris, are just a few of the agency's accolades. All of this stems from a portfolio of electrifying work, focusing on fundamentals and simplicity to create a unique aesthetic language all their own.

With the help of her incredible team, Joanne juggles multiple projects, cementing business relationships with clients who share her art de vivre and tastes for travel, fashion, food, and more.
