Hyunsuk Kim is a design educator and practitioner based in Seoul, Korea. He is currently department chair of Visual Communication Design and dean of Graduate School of Film and Digital Media at Hongik University in Korea. He is a communications strategist, design consultant, and accomplished creative director with a focus on user experience design in new media. Hyunsuk worked as a design manager at Yahoo! User Experience Design team and designed various special events sites. He served as vice president of ico-D(International Council of Design) and is a current president of the ADADA(Asia Digital Arts and Design Association) and vice-president of KSDS(Korea Society of Design Science). He has participated various exhibitions and projects around the world.
