Yuko Shimizu’s original plan was to have a corporate career. But after 11 years in Tokyo corporate PR world, she hit an early mid-life crisis and decided to pursue her passion in art in New York instead. Yuko graduated with an MFA in Illustration from School of Visual Arts (SVA) in 2003 and have been illustrating since. She also teaches the future generation of artists at SVA.
