Leslie Sims, Executive Creative Director of McCann New York, is the creator of one of advertising’s most famous brand icons, the Staples Easy Button, selling millions worldwide in four languages. She has produced award-winning work for brands including Nature Valley, Avis and MasterCard, earning her top honors from One Show and One Show Interactive, Cannes, Art Director’s Club, AICP, FWA, Webby Awards, ADDY and Communication Arts. Her work has been highlighted by the New York Times, CNBC, USA Today and her father’s favorite, Fox News.
Leslie began her career as a copywriter at Adworks in Washington DC. From there, she spent six months as the worst greens keeper to date on a guest ranch in Wyoming before heading to New York, where she has been for the last 16 years (15 of them with McCann). She currently lives in Connecticut with her two children and very tolerant husband.
