Iván Carrasco is a graphic designer with a degree in marketing from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. He has 16 years of experience in the advertising and communications industry, having worked for different agencies such as Ogilvy & Mather Mexico, Ogilvy & Mather Toronto, Saatchi & Saatchi Mexico and Lowe & Partners Mexico. Most of his professional development and success has been with Ogilvy. He has been part of Ogilvy's creative team for 14 years and part of the LATAM Ogilvy Board since 2008.

He has spearheaded several campaigns for various brands, including Hot Wheels, Mattel´s Scrabble and Pictionary, Scott's Emulsion and GSK's Tums, Premium Restaurant Brand´s Pizza Hut and KFC, Mazda, Land Rover, Pond's, Hershey's, Kraft, Motorola, Volvo, Liverpool, the Mexican Red Cross and, Casa de la Amistad, among others.

Iván Carrasco has won more creative awards than most others in Mexico. In his long career, his talent has been acknowledged nationally and internationally at major advertising festivals, including the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, Clios, LIA, The One Show, D&AD, El Sol de San Sebastián, the Ojo de Iberoamérica and Mexico´s El Círculo Creativo, the country´s local festival.

2014 has been an important year in his career as Ogilvy Mexico´s Creative Vice President with The Hair Fest campaign for Casa de la Amistad, winning one bronze and three silver lions; One bronze Clio, three Silver Clios, three gold Clios and two Grand Clios; At the London International Awards, one silver and two golds. These awards make The Hair Fest the most awarded campaign in the history of Mexican advertising.

This year Ivan has been elected President of Mexico´s El Circulo Creativo for 2014-2015.
