Michael Kempner is the founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of MWW PR, one of the largest independent public relations firms in the world. He is a nationally recognized authority on reputation management, crisis management, public affairs, business to business, consumer marketing and corporate social responsibility, and has counseled some of the world’s most prominent executives, organizations and companies.

Mr. Kempner has been honored with many of the industry’s highest accolades, including PRWeek’s PR Professional of the Year in 2015, International Business Awards PR Executive of the Year in 2012, 2013 and 2014; Bulldog Stars of PR Awards Grand Prize in 2012 and 2013; PR News Agency Leader of the Year in 2013 and CSR Professional of the Year in 2012, and he was inducted into the PR News Hall of Fame in 2009. Additionally, Mr. Kempner was honored with the Gay and Lesbian Victory Fund’s Corporate Leadership Award in 2014.

In 2014, Mr. Kempner was nominated by President Obama and confirmed by the United States Senate to serve as a Governor of the U.S. Broadcasting Board of Governors. He is a member of the Fulbright Canada Scholars Board, Board Member of Goodwill Industries International, Board Member of the New York Coalition for the Homeless and a founding Board Member of ConnectOne Bank. Mr. Kempner previously served a member of the White House Council for Community Solutions.
