Menno is one most awarded ECD's in the US and currently runs Green Giant, Shock Top, WATERisLIFE and all the Sherwin Williams brands at Deutsch NY. He recently won a titanium lion with his team for the Krylon Pinterest yard sale.

Prior to Deutsch, he was at DDB New York, where he also served as Executive Creative Director. Within his first year, the agency was named Creativity's "Agency to Watch" in the Advertising Age A-list, crediting DDB New York as "A new creative hot shop, even though it's been around for 64 years." Also DDB received mention as the runner up for the "Agency of the year" title by Creative Review in the UK. He and his teams created the 5th most awarded interactive/social campaign of 2013, WaterisLife "Hashtag Killer". DDB NY soon became the "3rd most awarded agency in the US" by the Gunn report and "Design agency of the year" at Young Guns. He is most proud of the 9/11 work he created with the New York City Ballet called "New Beginnings", a ballet performance on top of the new World Trade center during sunrise on September 12th.

Menno started his career at Saatchi & Saatchi NY, where he won every top international award for his work for clients such as JcPenney and P&G. Within Menno's first two years in the industry, he was named "Most Awarded Art Director Worldwide" by Creativity. That same year, he played a key role in Saatchi & Saatchi NY winning the "Agency of the Year" title at Cannes and the Clio Awards. By then Menno was also ranked one of the Top 50 Young Creatives in the world by the New York Art Directors Club.

From Saatchi, he went to Y&R NY,  as Creative Director and Head of Art; he helped the agency become the most-awarded U.S. shop, placing second for "Agency of the Year" at the Cannes Festival and created the campaign that made the agency "Digital agency of the year" at Young Guns. Y&R was then ranked in the top five "Most Awarded Agencies" by Creativity.

As a student, he was named "Dutch Talent of the Year," "German Student of the Year," "International Student Young Gun of the Year," International Student of the Year" by Luerzers Archive, and a "Top Graduate" by Adweek.
