2017 One Show Print & Outdoor Jury
Amy Ferguson joined Mullen Lowe in the fall of 2015 to run the JetBlue account out of their newly opened New York office.
She began her career at TBWA/Chiat/Day NY, where she helped to revamp Absolut’s image with the iconic “In an Absolut World” campaign. From there she made the move to Grey New York, where she worked on campaigns for Captain Morgan and for E-Trade’s beloved “talking baby,” including a wildly popular and awarded Super Bowl spot. In 2010 Amy left Grey and became a fixture in the freelance world. She spent time at some of the best shops in New York, creating a name for herself and a reputation for her sense of humor and work ethic. Freelance afforded her time to work on creative pursuits beyond advertising, including her own line of greeting cards.
In the short time she’s been running the account, she has already gotten the brand a lot of attention with compelling work. Most notably, JetBlue Flybabies, which was a viral sensation that commandeered the conversation around Mother’s Day. With a budget of only 200k, an onboard promotion and accompanying film were created that celebrated what most people agree is the most annoying part of flying: crying babies.
