Pierre Lipton

Pierre Lipton is a Group Creative Director at AKQA where he oversees creative on the Xbox account.

Lipton brings more than 10 years of creative experience to AKQA having previously worked at BBDO NY as Senior Vice President and Creative Director. While there, he produced internationally recognized work for HBO's Big Love, Daimler Smart Car, The Economist, AT&T and the Special Olympics, receiving a Gold Cannes Lion, three One Show Pencils, four Art Directors' cubes, a Gold Obie, a Clio, and a Webby nomination.

Prior to BBDO NY, Pierre was an Associate Creative Director at TBWA/Chiat/Day where he helped launch the first new tagline "In An Absolut World" in the famous vodka brand's 25 year history.

Pierre started his ad career as a copywriter at DeVito/Verdi, where the first print and radio ads he ever wrote (for the ACLU and For Eyes, respectively) received merits at The One Show. Following that, he also held stints at Kirshenbaum Bond and Fallon.
