Nicke Bergstrom, a native of Sweden, co-founded the online agency Farfar in 2000 and received his first Cannes Lion (a Grand Prix) within the first year. Farfar has been very successful in attracting both clients and talent. The agency has frequently been on stage in award shows, has appeared in books, and participated in the international debate about pushing online advertising forward. After winning the Cannes Grand Prix, Farfar has won numerous awards in the One Show, Cannes, CLIO, D&AD, London International Advertising awards and EPICA, for their work on Adidas, Absolut Vodka, Nokia, and Red Bull. Farfar has been named "Agency of the Year" twice in Sweden. Nicke has worked with online advertising since 1996. Before starting Farfar, he studied advertising and design in Sweden, the United Kingdom, and also the United States, where he worked at MTV Networks in New York from 1999 to 2000. In 2005, Nicke was selected as the "Best Online Creative" in Sweden, and was ranked 7th place in Campaign Magazine's list of "Online's Finest" in the fall of 2005. During the last few years, Nicke has been a member of several juries such as The One Show, Clio Awards, D&AD, MSN European Awards Eurobest, and LIA.
