Mary is a brand identity designer and founding partner of Lewis Moberly whose clients include Le Bon Marché, Jasper Conran, HRH The Prince of Wales and Grand Hyatt Dubai. Her numerous awards include the British Design and Art Direction Gold Award, three Silver Awards and the Design Business Association Grand Prix. In 2001 Mary received the British Design & Art Direction President's Award for Outstanding Contribution to Design. Most recently, Lewis Moberly's identity for Waitrose Cooks' Ingredients collected ten awards since launch including a D&AD Silver Nomination and the DBA Design Effectiveness Award. Mary is the first woman President of British Design & Art Direction and has chaired the BBC Graphic Design Awards and the Scottish Design Awards. She is a member of the Royal Mail Special Stamps Committee and a Fellow of the RSA. In 2002 she received an Honorary Masters Degree from the University of Surrey. Mary is contributing author to Understanding Brands. She participated in the BBC Coolhunters programme as Design Consultant to Marks and Spencer, where she founded the Design Forum. Conferences where she has been guest speaker include the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and the South Africa Design Indaba. Most recently Mary spoke at the Drinks Business Innovation Conference. In 2008 she has been invited to be a guest speaker at the Elisava University in Barcelona Profiles include the Financial Times, Communication Arts and Sunday Business and Pleasure. She recently participated in 'Meeting of Minds' at the Design Council and joined leading industry figures to celebrate British Design at Buckingham Palace.
