Young Guns

I am a German born animation director and freelance animator based in London. My short films have screened in over 50 worldwide film and animation festivals and my MA graduation film "Thursday" has been recognised with a BAFTA nomination in 2011.

I graduated from the Illustration and Animation BA course in Kingston, UK in 2006 and completed my MA in Animation at the Royal College of Art, London in 2010.

I have worked on projects ranging from commercials, documentaries and interactive projects to children’s TV, for clients such as the BBC, Channel 4, Warp Films, HP and Virgin Media. Coming from an illustration background, my approach to Animation is led by distinctive design and succinct storytelling.

I am represented as animation director by Not To Scale in London, where I have just completed my most recent commission, “Upstairs”, a short film for Channel 4 in the UK.
