Marques Gartrell was born and raised in West Philadelphia, and it's safe to say that many if not most of his days were spent on playgrounds. His childhood was riddled with random activities from the drums, pine wood derby races, computer animation and a short lived stint as a ventriloquist. Marques joined TBWA\Chiat\Day NY in 2011 and has worked on brands including Starburst, Planters, Kahlua and Absolut. Before Chiat, Marques worked at Saatchi & Saatchi NY and Fallon Minneapolis. Working on brands including Keystone Light, Fruit by the Foot, Syfy, Alpo and more. His work has been recognized by Cannes, The One Club, AdWeek, The Tomorrow Awards and Contagious Magazine.
