Last night's One Show was a great success, worthy of the excellent pencil-winning work celebrated this year. Top creatives from around the world gathered at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center to honor over 100 Gold, Silver, and Bronze pencils representing 26 countries around the world.

Guests began filing in for a cocktail reception around 6, and soon formed a queue to pose for a picture with our illustrious host...Fabio!

Fabio graciously chatted and posed with guests, then proceeded to host an over two hour ceremony, with a funny and self-referential performance that poked fun at some career highlights, including his famous spokesmanship for "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, and his recent turn as Mustafa's rival in Wieden + Kennedy's popular Old Spice campaign.

Other highlights included an appearance by advertising legend Jerry Della Femina, who introduced a short film recapping our Hall of Fame ceremony honoring Steve Jobs earlier this year. Jerry spoke of his strong admiration for Jobs, and commented on his enduring, though sometimes ambivalent, love for working in advertising. And yes, he still describes working in the field as "the most fun you can have with your clothes on."

We thank everyone who celebrated with us, and we'll see you next year....or later tonight at One Show Interactive at Terminal 5, NY!
