In the 70s / Haemonetics

Submitted By Bob Shiffrar

Description

"Hematocrit" is the percentage of red blood cells in a volume of blood. Haemonetics' OrthoPAT system filters and washes a patient's own blood during and after orthopedic surgery. This delivers high "hematocrit" blood to the patient. The higher the hematocrit, the more red blood cells, the more oxygen produced, the better the healing.

Objective

Very simply: to communicate to orthopedic surgeons that Haemonetics' OrthoPAT system provides them with a very high hematocrit (exceeding 70 percent).

Technical Challenge

Creating medical device advertising that's informative, and yet creative and memorable.
