The intent of the work is to remind people of the necessity of an annual car inspection. If things can go wrong, it is very likely they will go wrong.

Objective

Aðalskodun is the number two auto inspection company in Iceland, with a fairly steady and stagnant market share. The objective with the campaign was to attract a younger audience to Adalskodun and create a brand, which hasn't been present in the market thus far.

Technical Challenge

We wanted to shoot in January, and for ten days we had to postpone due to very little visibility and snowstorms. We only had one day to shoot, and the day in Iceland in January only allows for 5 hours of shooting. It was a cold and windy day on top of the cliff. Despite a big truck full of lighting equipment, the plan to use lights had to be foregone, due to the wind. So we had to make do with a natural source of light.
