About the Role:Â
As a Digital Designer you will make the Babbel brand come to life creatively. You will develop and deliver a range of cross-platform creative that evokes the Babbel brand, and speaks to our target consumers. If you see pixel perfect design in your dreams, if your eyes light up when you make the perfect landing page, if you believe a perfect design is both beautiful and converts well in market, then you'll be a great fit here.
Babbel is at an inflection point in its growth in the US and in this role you will help accelerate our efforts across the digital landscape. Digital acquisition will be a focal point to our marketing strategy going forward.
Working closely with Manager, Digital Design, you will create amazing work that will make customers aware of, and interested in Babbel. From driving top-of-the-funnel brand awareness via clever and engaging creative to bottom-of-the-funnel through-put for subscriber growth, your work will have its imprint at every touch point in a customer's journey with Babbel.
Specific duties include development of:
Banner ads for digital acquisition across a slew of display advertising platforms with the goal of improving our click-through rates
A range of creative formats for Paid Social including Facebook, Instagram and other social platforms with the goal of improving our app installs
Landing pages for SEM, Podcasts and other campaigns with the goal of improving conversion to leads
Web pages within the marketing funnel with the goal of improving conversion to sales
Emails to leads that drive higher engagement, clicks and conversions to subscriptions, and emails to subscribers that improve their retention
Occasional designs for other formats such as print, on-screen video graphics, PPT documents, and the like
Key Job Requirements Are:
At least 2+years' track record of delivering market-ready campaigns
Experience in B2C tech company, start-up experience will come in quite handy
Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Motion graphic, animation, and illustration experience a plus
Understanding of design best practices, specifically responsive web design
Disciplined creative thinker who understands the fundamentals of direct response
Multilingualism is a plus; strong interest in language is a requirement
