Yes, hello! Ve are yogg ? a full-service branding and design agency based in zee town of Richmond, Virginia. Ve makes zee brands zat reflect client culture. And by "clients" we mean zee journey folk. Zhey typically are smaller in nature, hail from all over zee land of America and have a zest for life much like zee flowing springs of glacial melt zat invigorate and excite oneself upon deep submersion of zee speedo into frigidly refreshing lagoons of happiness and joy. Ve are searching for zee identity designer of our dreams! Zee perfect candidate loves zee logos. Loves zhem like zee oxen loves zee hay ? all day every day. Systems, packaging and zee many sweet nothings of zee identity design is all zhis designer could ever vant! And ve have it.


Education: BFA Graphic Design or similar 


Experience: 3+ years in an agency setting preferred 


Important Attributes: Conceptual thinker, communications problem solver, brand identity machine, detail oriented and precise with layouts & illustrations, collaborative, ability to take direction yet decisive enough to lead, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines, type snob, able to work independently or in groups, confident in his/her contributions to the work and process. Digital design chops are a big plus. 


Primary Responsibilities: Collaborate with creative director and strategist to develop strong, compelling visual brand identities and design concepts that are on strategy, relevant and pretty sweet. Develop projects from concept to completion and ensure the highest creative quality possible while working within allotted time budgets. Generate specs, for the project manager to gather quotes from print and/or web vendors. Aid in production decisions with the project manager. 


Secondary Responsibilities: Track time, projects and communication through online project management system. Write entries for blog. Execute self-promotional work for the agency. Some travel may be required. 


Typical Projects: Identity, print collateral, digital design, identity systems, environmental design, ad campaigns and packaging/products. 


Promotional Path: Grow with the company into Senior Designer
