Adobe Design is seeking an Experience Designer to help create next generation learning experiencesÂ for the wide range of Creative Cloud customers?from designers to artists to photographers and filmmakers and more.Â Adobe believes in creativity for everyone and we want our newest team member to build new education centric services and features integrated into our products across desktop, mobile, and web surfaces. Adobe Design is Adobe's in-house team that works directly with executives, product managers and engineering leadership to bring great products to life. We are co-located and work together in person every day to make the best products possible. This position is in San Francisco, California at Adobe's historic Baker & Hamilton building.
What you'llÂ do:
-Design next generation learning experiences for Creative Cloud products.
-Integrate learning features into mobile and web-based products.
-Create user experience goals, priorities, and deliverables that align with product milestones, coordinate multiple projects to completion, and drive adoption of user experience practices.Â
-Proactively engage with multiple project stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, and other designers in drafting & brainstorming initial concepts.Â
-Work closely with designers to define visual language and patterns.
-Convey design ideas via sketches, storyboards, hi-fidelity mockups, prototypes, or animations.
-Create iterative designs that meet product objectives, fit within XD design guidelines, and respond to feedback and usability testing.
-Work across a wide range of projects, technologies, and devices.Â
-Support development teams throughout the implementation cycle.Â
What you'll need to succeed:
-A passionateexperience designer with a 5+ year track record of great designs and strategy that meet user needs, product requirements, and business goals.
-BA/BFA degree in HCI or design related field or applicable work experience. Emphasis on education user experience is desired, not required.
-Background or dedication in education/learning service design.
-Familiarity with mobile design guidelines for iOS and Android.
-Ability to grasp the essence of complex design problems and user pain points, and translate them to practical design solutions.
-Ability to accept and design against feedback from colleagues in a rapid iterative design process, and effectively produce multiple highly polished and professional finished works under tight timeline.Â
-Proficient in fundamental visual & interaction design principles.
-Experience creating innovative digital interface design solutions for both mobile and web applications.Â
-Skilled in Adobe products such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, After Effects or similar tools.
-Familiarity with HTML5/CSS3 is a plus.
-Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
-Willing and able to contribute to the creative spirit of the Experience Design team and of the company.Â
