You understand branding, visual identity, and interface design; enjoy the challenge of integrating complex information into cohesive systems; and have an passion for design and the latest design tools and techniques.
As a part of our team of strategists, designers, production experts, and project managers, you will create design concepts and design executions for print and digital applications. You will sometimes work independently, defining tasks and initiatives, sometimes collaborate across disciplines, and sometimes direct other designers.
Strong design aesthetic with sound strategic and conceptual-thinking abilities
Exceptional typographic abilities, and a thorough knowledge of contemporary and historical practices
Ability to distill abstract ideas and brand values into visual form
Understanding of information architecture, navigational schemes, and user interaction
Ability to be flexible as the situation requires (e.g., collaborate with other disciplines in the studio, facilitate brainstorming sessions, present to and engage with clients, and work independently or take direction as appropriate)
A Bachelor's or advanced degree in design or related field
4+ years of experience (the majority of it in a studio environment) with expertise in brand, identity, and interactive design
A solid portfolio of professional design work
Experience working on a broad range of print and digital projects
Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills
Superior collaboration skills and a team-first mentality
Fundamental understanding of print and web production, including color, media, etc.
Thorough knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other relevant software
