Finalists of the One Show and One Show Interactive

NEW YORK, NY (TK)—The One Club, the world’s foremost organization for the recognition and promotion of excellence in advertising, has announced the finalists for the One Show and One Show Interactive awards, advertising’s equivalent of the Oscars.
On May 9th the world’s top creatives will converge on Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City for the One Show gala awards ceremony. The coveted Gold, Silver and Bronze Pencils will be handed out for the best print, television, radio and innovative media of the year. On Friday,
May 11, the One Show Interactive awards will take place downtown at New York’s Skylight Studios, awarding Pencils to the best international new media and web design of the year.
"Innovation is driving the forefront of creativity in today’s market. The One Show has embraced new channels of advertising and rewarded the very best work being produced throughout the world this year," says Mary Warlick, Chief Executive Officer of The One Club.
The top five nominated countries for the One Show are the United States (185), Germany (38), Singapore (35), Canada (30) and South Africa (29).
The top five nominated countries for the One Show Interactive are the United States (116), United Kingdom (30), Sweden (24), Brazil (15) and Japan (13).

The 2007 One Show and One Show Interactive has attracted over 17,000 entries from 64 countries around the world. Judged by an international panel of some of the world's top creatives, winning a One Show Pencil is considered the ultimate achievement in the industry.
