This years Creative Boot Camp in New York was yet, another success! Hosted by the One Club’s longtime partner agency, WUNDERMAN the event obtained student registrants from different colleges and universities. Each scholar comes from various backgrounds, skills, and professional interests. Their interest in the advertising world ranges from “Introductory” to “Ready to Enter the Creative Industry”.

Participants were immersed in a real industry environment as WUNDERMAN hosted the entire boot camp at their agency. Chief Creative Officer, Sami Thessman kicked off the event with an inspiring overview of the industry. Students were assigned to teams and given a client brief to develop into a creative campaign over a three-day span. The experience was also enhanced with mentors from the hosting agency as well as other top agencies. Throughout the workshop, creative professionals provided valuable insight into creating a winning campaign.

The Creative Boot Camp concluded on Friday, January 20th where team presentations were presented in a true client pitch style. Through a panel of 15 top creative agency judges, including Gerry Graf from Barton F. Graf, three winning teams were selected for their innovative work.

Among several prizes that the winning teams receive, the top team receives complementary memberships to The One Club, full access to Creative Week, and first choice internship interviews through WUNDERMAN recruiting.
