Austin Howe is a freelance creative director and copywriter based
in Portland, Oregon. Austin has helped Crispin Porter + Bogusky,
Wieden+Kennedy, TBWAChiatDay, Deutsch and others create
and produce broadcast for clients like Nike, Budweiser, Levi-Strauss, Starbuck’s, Mitsubishi and Baskin-Robbins.
He regularly collaborates with design and hybrid firms like
Sandstrom Design, JDK, and Cahan & Associates.
Austin has served on the executive jury and was the first-ever
radio jury chairman for the Clio awards, and is a regular jury
member for various national and international creative
competitions.
His work has been recognized by D&AD in the UK, One Show
(Gold), the $20,000 Gold Radio Mercury Award, Clios,
Communication Arts, Graphis and the London International
Awards.
Austin is also in demand as a speaker at various ad clubs and
business groups across the country, and has guest lectured at
Portfolio Center and Creative Circus. In his free time, Austin
enjoys pants and a lovely lovely ham.
