Stuart Harricks’s began his career by cutting his teeth as a junior Art Director at Leo Burnett Sydney, shortly after reaching the Top 10 of AWARD School Australia (Australian Writers and Art Directors). From there on Stuart has worked across a number of regions. In Asia with Lowe Singapore and Malaysia, Dentsu Singapore, and more notably Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore where he defined himself with some highly awarded pieces of work at local, regional award shows as well as Clio, One Show and Cannes. The Saatchi and Saatchi Singapore team went on to claim GUNN REPORT 1st Australasian Agency 2008, No.1 Creative Agency by Campaign Brief Asia 2007, Marketing Agency of the Year 2007, and also finished 4th in the world at the 2007 Cannes International Advertising Festival, reasserting itself once again as a creative hot shop. After Asia it was over to the US, working at respected independent shop Modernista! operating as an ACD responsible for the integration of the creative departments digital and traditional offerings, on campaigns for Palm, National Parks Foundation and Cadillac. In January 2009 Stuart joined Madison Avenue’s Y&R New York office as a Global Creative Director where his team has recently gone on to win a number of international awards for LG. This is where he currently is. A career spanning 6 cities, 3 regions, and work of which has been awarded in both traditional and digital arenas Stuart still enjoys the challenge of the media evolution.
