Stuart Harricks’s began his career by cutting his teeth as a junior Art Director at Leo Burnett Sydney after reaching the Top 10 of AWARD School (Australian Writers and Art Directors). From here Stuart went on to work across a number of regions.
In Asia with Lowe Singapore and Malaysia, Dentsu Singapore, and more notably Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore where he defined himself with highly awarded pieces of work at local, regional award shows as well as the international shows of Clio, One Show and Cannes. The Saatchi and Saatchi Singapore team went on to claim GUNN REPORT 1st Australasian Agency 2008, No.1 Creative Agency by Campaign Brief Asia 2007, Marketing Agency of the Year 2007, and also finished 4th in the world at the 2007 Cannes International Advertising Festival, reasserting itself once again as a creative hot shop.
After Asia he worked in the US at respected independent shop Modernista! as an Intergrated Associate CD responsible for the integration of the the multi faceted creative departments digital, design and traditional offerings, on campaigns for Palm, National Parks Foundation and Cadillac. In January 2009 Stuart joined Madison Avenue’s Y&R New York Headquarters Office as a Global Creative Director on electronics giant LG where his team went on to win a number of international awards.
Once again lured by the challenge of a different market Stuart turned his sights to Europe, taking up a CD role with Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam working on Coca-Cola Music and Beeline a Russian Telco.
These days Stuart is based in New York as a Consultant Creative Director.
A career spanning 6 cities, 3 regions, and work of which has been awarded in both traditional and digital arenas he still enjoys the challenge of creating within the constantly evolving medias.
