The Summer of '13. Were you there? / Guardian | Music
Submitted By Laura Osborne
The Summer of '13. Were you there? is a predominantly print campaign for Guardian Music.
We rendered the press as illustrated posters them so beautifully you would want to rip it out of the paper and stick it on your wall.
Following this there were 3 original artworks created by Paula Castro based on and awarded to the best-tweeted memories of The Summer of '13.
Additionally, the Guardian loved her work so much she went on to illustrate the Glastonbury Guide. The guide still exists on ebay as a treasured piece of history.
FACT: We made the owner of Glastonbury cry with happiness with our poetic retrospectives!
To advertise the Guardian ticket giveaway, festival guide and presence at British festivals in 2013 we created posters that captured memories from the future.
