Welcome Back (Day of the Dead) / Brown Forman - El Jimador

Description

We had the mission to bring the holiday "Day of the Dead" to life.
We launched a digital campaign around the multi-day Mexican celebration focused on family and friends gathering to remember loved ones who have passed.

The tongue-in-cheek “#WelcomeBack” campaign uses stop motion skeletons to show the camaraderie of the day (for those who are not familiar with it) and the funny challenges that those who are no longer with us might face when trying to come back to party.

Objective

As tequila and the Day of the Dead both grow in popularity outside of Mexico, there was an opportunity for El Jimador to play a part in the holiday and showcasing it on social media was key.

Technical Challenge

We worked closely with a Mexican team to stay true to the holiday and the culture.
