PRINCE CHARMING IS DEAD / UNDIZ

Description

UNDIZ is a very accessible French lingerie and homewear brand. It has a very young, fun and daring spirits and its mission is to allow everybody (especially teenagers) to express their personality and difference.
I work with UNDIZ as an illustrator and writer (punchliner!) since one year now. This project is my first collection, where I was really inspired by girl power and laziness.

Objective

I wanted to twist the traditional vision of women, especially young girls, with a fun voice. Modern princess are lazy and imperfect. Snow White was just a myth. The prince charming is dead. But magic is still there!

Technical Challenge

I think the most important challenge was to deform my characters just enough so Disney couldn't sue me!
It is really hard because somehow they obtained the monopoly of princesses, and always vehicle the same clichés. So I was really happy to have the right to twist this, to show that a princess can be the queen of laziness and imperfection!
