ReachNow Website Redesign / ReachNow & BMW

I was the creative lead for the mobile-first redesign of ReachNow. ReachNow, a carshare and rideshare initiative by BMW, needed a website redesign to help drive conversion rates and drop the volume of calls to the call center.

Objective

The objective of the site was to simplify the messaging upfront and layer much of the FAQ questions as content throughout the site. The site not only serves as a brand voice for ReachNow, it also introduces the idea of multi-modal transportation through use case scenarios peppered throughout each page. With geo-locating, new users are dropped into their “area,” so Brooklyn users see Brooklyn content first with imagery unique to that area. For members needing further clarification, an animation guides users through process of finding and driving a ReachNow car.

Technical Challenge

ReachNow functions as a startup and the site was designed in the agile method. A skeleton team worked closely alongside the client to comb through content and develop a system for clarifying a new way to approach transportation. A seemingly complicated process is simplified by educating new members prior to their first drive, for example, how to use their phone to start and drive these keyless cars.
