2012 One Show Interactive Honors Year’s Best In Creative Digital Advertising With Gold, Silver And Bronze Pencil Awards

Top creatives and the digital elite joined The One Club this evening to honor and celebrate the Gold, Silver and Bronze Pencil winners of the prestigious 2012 One Show Interactive awards competition. This year a total of 91 Pencil winners representing 17 different countries were announced, with momentous “Best of Show” honors going to two projects for the first time in the history of the award prestigious competition: DDB Paris’ “A New Warrior,” created for the global nonprofit Greenpeace and 72andSunny for “MFCEO,” created for client K-Swiss and featuring lead character Kenny Powers from HBO’s “Eastbound and Down.”
“This is the first time in the history of the One Show Interactive awards competition that we have awarded two ‘Best of Show’ winners,” said Kevin Swanepoel, President and interim CEO at The One Club, the world’s foremost nonprofit organization whose mission is to champion excellence in advertising and the annual producer of the One Show awards. “After four intense hours of deliberation by our elite jury panel, a landmark decision to was made to award both DDB Paris and 72andSunny for their brave creative campaigns.”
Gold Pencil winners of this year’s One Show Interactive also include BBDO Toronto’s “Touch the Rainbow” for Wrigley Canada; TBWA\Chiat\Day’s “Celebrate the Era” for Pacific Standard Time and SapientNitro’s “Sneakerpedia” for Foot Locker Europe.
One Show Interactive honors also went to 33 Silver Pencil and 36 Bronze Pencil winners.

This year’s One Show Interactive competition featured eight categories including Websites & Microsites; Mobile Applications/Sites; Interactive Advertising; Online Films and Video; Integrated Branding; Craft; Social Media and Brand Transformation.
Produced annually by The One Club, the 2012 One Show Interactive awards competition received a total of 3,074 entry pieces from 52 countries.
