Peruvian Art Director Lucia Bernal Neumann Announced Winner Of One Show's "Your Onederful Design Contest"

The One Club is pleased to announce that Lucia Bernal Neumann, 27, a freelance art director from Lima, Peru, has been announced the winner of the One Show’s creative “Your ONEderful World Design Contest,”” having received the most number of Facebook “Likes” (2,693) as of the contest deadline April 6, 2012.

As the ONEderful Design Contest contest winner, Ms. Neumann receives a round-trip airline ticket to New York City, two nights hotel accommodations, and ticket to attend the prestigious One Show awards ceremony on Thursday, May 10th at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, where her winning design also will appear onscreen during the awards presentation.

For the Facebook contest, entrants were asked to design an original poster based on the idea, “Create something ONEderful,” from the official One Show creative marketing campaign by Design Army in Washington, DC. Using a mix of old magazine clips and Photoshop technology, Neumann’s winning design paid homage to vintage Westerns, with a shootout for the One Show’s coveted Gold, Silver and Bronze Pencil awards.

Ms. Neumann, 27, studied art direction at Escola Cuca in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She earned her BA degree in Graphic Design at the University San Ignacio de Loyola in Lima, Peru. This is her first trip to New York City.
