About the Work

August 9 was the day the atomic bomb dropped on Nagasaki. It has been 76 years since the end of the war, and the history is being forgotten. In 2021, the Nuclear Weapons Convention came into effect. Yet Japan and countries who have nuclear weapons have not announced their participation. More than 13,000 nuclear weapons still exist in the world. This advertisement visually appealed that the issue of nuclear weapons is not a problem of the past, but of the present, and that we, all human beings, are involved.
