About the Work

For this Halloween issue we switched up our fonts to fit well with both pop sureal-ist artwork and also our NYT branding by creating oversized 'blackletter,' headlines. We implemented different headline styles, and bespoke logos on each cover, to differentiate the 'Trick side' from the 'Treat side.'
