About the Work

Welcome to Spotify’s first metaverse destination Spotify Island on Roblox. Spotify Island is a paradise of sound where fans and artists can connect through audio and play. We brought to life our brand’s visual identity from a 2D expression to a 3D immersive experience from our “like” hearts being used as tokens to custom speed tracks and beatmakers. At K-Park, fans received signed light sticks from Stray Kids, learned custom dance moves from choreographer Bailey Sok, and attended a virtual meet-and-greet with superstar SUNMI at K-Pop cafe. On Planet Hip-Hop, fans raced cars on the outer rings, and met Doechii in her swamp queendom. To conclude the year, we celebrated Wrapped on Spotify Island with 12 artists — including NewJeans, Calvin Harris and Bizarrap. In addition to creating avatars for each artist, we partnered with them on exclusive capsule collections inspired by their discographies.With 1.6 Billion global impressions and over 24.5 Million visits to Spotify Island on Roblox, Spotify continues to find new ways to connect creators and consumers.
