About the Work

Has branding become boring? Is the audience constantly looking for something new, fresh, and unexpected? Art Director, Ronnie Allman had the same thought. He created BRAND X, a social experiment, where he reimagined some of the most iconic brands in unexpected ways using AI. He then unleashed the creations and shared them directly with brands on LinkedIn. The audience went GAGA.

Let’s take Google. We all know and love this tech giant, but what if they took things in a different direction? With the help of AI, Ronnie transformed Google into a luxury 70’s fashion brand. The shoe’s alone turned heads.

But, Ronnie didn’t stop there. He teamed up with LYFT during New York Fashion week and took their brand on a fashion detour and released a whole dreamed up line of streetwear clothes. LYFT featured the content on their social channels and their audience fell in love.

By using AI tools like MidJourney, Ronnie reimagined Liquid Death, 7-Eleven, Cheetos, and even turned Pepto-Bismol into a boy band. He created a new way for creatives to think about their beloved brands. These AI creations can eventually make their way into pop-culture by turning generated images into physical objects we can wear, touch, smell, and listen to.
