About the Work
Set many years in the future, Reactor is a music video that follows the story of the last kids on earth. The film uses abstract yet realistic CG animation to create a visceral portrait of a depleted oasis. It is articulated as a duet, narrating a struggling relationship between an otherworldly landscape and the humans who consume its resources.
Reactor is an homage to the golden age of Japanese Anime – it features the Suginami Junior Choir, a chorus in Japan known for bringing vocals to the films of Studio Ghibli.
