About the Work
For the promotion of the video game The Callisto Protocol, we created, in post-production VFX, a 90-second trailer taking place in a completely immersive environment, where horror and the post-apocalypse are one.
The first challenge of this production was the short, three-month timeline for completion relative to the size of the project itself and the amount of attention to detail required. Another hurdle was the absence of lead actor, Josh Duhamel, during filming, which led to having to recreate sequences as if he was present.
The project's VFX supervisor was involved in the post-production stage from start to finish. Present on the sets in Brazil and Los Angeles, he led as to ensure everything worked for the next stage. His attention to detail and his understanding of the game universe allowed him to maintain the quality of the renderings and to guide the team of VFX artists.
