About the Work
Kayaker Nouria Newman continues to do what she does best: make new marks on the sport with first female descents down some of the most demanding lines worldwide. She snagged the record for the highest waterfall descent by a female paddler after successfully navigating a 100 foot drop. The run won her Rider of the Year at the Whitewater Awards for the fifth year in a row, on top of her triple grip on the title of Extreme Kayak World Champion.
