About the Work
For this Halloween issue we made a custom ‘Rancid’ logo for the cover and illustrated tiny flies that have landed on it. The pages become more and more moldy and festooned with flies as the issue progresses. The beautifully illustrated center spread is about the science of ‘decay,’ and we used graphic organic shapes throughout the issue to create depth for a really ‘rotten’ effect.
