Spending his first 20 years behind the “Iron curtain”equipped Adrian with the features that may have earned him the first double Cannes Grand Prix for Central East Europe: a challenger spirit and a capacity to thrive with scarcity.

Adrian sees himself as a challenger even more today, as McCann’s European Creative President, the only healthy behavior in a business prone to disruption and reinvention. This is the spirit that he has managed to instill across McCann offices in Europe.

This approach led to McCann becoming one of the most creative networks in Europe, winning in the past three years two Cannes Lions Grand Prix and 90 other Lions in different colors. He also led McCann to be 5 times Network of the Year in Central and Eastern Europe. As CCO of the Bucharest office, he helped turn it into a flagship creative hub for the network, winning a consistent number of accolades in the Clios, One Show, D&AD, Eurobest, a double Cannes Lions Grand Prix and Titanium.

Adrian is currently living in London where he is missing the invigorating low budgets and the proper passing of seasons.
