He believes that the environment in which we live, the things and services that we use must be in a high quality, they have to be functional and understandable. The environmental, graphic and service design of a high quality provide the experience that affects every user in the long term. Design as an interdisciplinary tool delivers a certain message in a specific space and time.
Holgers works in areas related to art and design, including environmental, graphic, multimedia, exhibition and experiential design.
Holgers Elers and Design Studio is a winner of a number of prestigious international awards for completed works. These awards include the Red Dot Design Award, SEGD Award, German Design Award, as well as IF Design Award. The Excellence Award in Culture by Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Latvia was received in 2017.
