Katie Potochney is Senior Director of Brand at Mailchimp, leading the in-house team of 35 creatives working across design, campaigns and studio production, on projects ranging from brand-infused app experiences to paid advertising to employee culture. Her passion is to nurture and grow creative teams to do the best work of their careers and deliver business outcomes while they’re at it.

Previously, Katie led brand design, strategy and paid advertising creative at Etsy, having started out as an art director at Droga5 and Johannes Leonardo, and a creative director at design transformation consultancy SYPartners. She is an alumna and former instructor at Pratt Institute, and her work has been recognized by AIGA, The One Club, Art Directors Club and Type Directors Club. Katie lives in Atlanta with her favorite illustrator Greg Kletsel, daughter Joanie and dog Shrimp.
