Brooklyn-based and French-Senegalese photographer, Delphine Diallo explores evolving themes of femininity through the captured emotions of her subjects, in return telling their powerful stories. From the process to the final image, Delphine Diallo's portraiture is all about connection and exchange.

Diallo's photographic career took off in 2008 when she met Peter Beard, who, impressed by her spontaneity and creativity, invited her to collaborate for the Pirelli Calendar photo shoot in Botswana. The trip had a profound effect on Diallo; it prompted her to travel to her father's home city in Senegal to explore her roots, and, pursue her own vision as an artist.

Today her work is known around the world for her unique take on art and activism. Her diverse practice spans across mediums such as digital, analogue, collage illustrations and printing.
