Bayyina Black is an award-winning creative sustainability and social impact expert. She’s spent more than 10+ years helping multimillion dollar companies align with their people, planet, profit and purpose goals. Recently named a Rising Star of Madison Avenue by Business Insider, Bayyina is the Global Sustainability & Impact Lead at R/GA where she oversees the Make/Good for Businesses program that provides BIPOC entrepreneurs pro bono creative services. She is also the co-creator of Grupo de Negros (GDN), the Afro-Brazilian business resource group based in São, Paulo, Brazil. The queen of pivots, Bayyina began her career in advertising, had a few sprints in media, tv/film and venture capital, only to end up where it all started. Bayyina has combined her love for sustainability, tech and storytelling to bring diverse stakeholders together for good. As an avid traveler and global citizen, Bayyina splits her time between Brooklyn, NY, Salvador/São Paulo, Brazil and Kingston, Jamaica with her passport always in tow. When grounded, she still flies high moonlighting as a licensed drone pilot and VR filmmaker who’s still perfecting her famous honey and lemon tea.
