Hilary Greenbaum is the Director of Graphic Design and Brand Creative for the Whitney Museum of American Art. Since 2012, she has managed the development of the museum’s visual identity across print, digital, and environmental platforms. Prior to her current position, she served as a staff designer and design columnist for The New York Times Magazine. Over the course of her career, her work has been recognized by D&AD, London’s Design Museum, the BRNO Biennial, the Society of Publication Designers, the Type Directors Club, the Art Directors Club, AIGA, and the Society for News Design, among others. Hilary holds a BFA from Carnegie Mellon University, an MFA from the California Institute of the Arts, and has taught design at New York University, Parsons School of Design, and Johns Hopkins University.
