Nia Lawrence is an award-winning Creative Director with over a decade of experience. Known for her clean, elegant design and art direction, Nia has developed a reputation as a strong conceptual thinker with outstanding visual strategy and leadership skills. Nia currently serves as the Creative Director of Essence magazine where she leads the Photo, Digital, Print and Social creative teams. Nia started her career 18 years ago as an Assistant Art Director at Real Simple Magazine and has worked as an Art Director in New York City ever since. Her work has graced the pages of Women's Health, Latina, Redbook, Suede, Victoria's Secret catalog and Martha Stewart.
