Rebecca Lee is a Korean-American spatial designer and a digital artist based in New York City. She graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Furniture Design. Rebecca has designed spaces for various major American retailers and brands. She also collaborates on digital art with a diverse array of brands and artists. Her art focuses on creating surreal environments which help the viewer escape into an idealized world. Utilizing the suggestion of subtle movement and passing of time, she seeks to capture the nature of a fleeting moment. Rebecca takes inspiration from both the built and natural environments to create an interplay between what is real and unreal. Rebecca is currently exploring AR/VR technology to bring the digital into the physical as immersive experiences. She actively collaborates with artists and designers of various disciplines, such as music, film, fashion, and architecture.
