Erin McLaughlin is a multi-script font designer who focuses on Indic writing systems, having designed fonts for Devanagari, Kannada, Telugu, Gurmukhi, and other scripts. Her fonts Katari, Tenorite, IBM Plex Devanagari, Adobe Kannada, Yantramanav, and Khula can be found on macOS Big Sur, Windows, Adobe CC, and Google Fonts. She is a co-organizer of the TypeWknd online typography conference, and previously organized TypeCon and AIGA events. Erin is an alumna of the MATD program at the University of Reading, UK, and the Minneapolis College of Art & Design. She currently lives in Texas, USA.
