Portland

A former pro-snowboarder, Sara Phillips is a Creative Director at Wieden+Kennedy making work that people like, sometimes even talk about and occasionally the President tweets about. Twice. She was responsible for the Nike Olympic campaigns in both 2012 and 2016. That work set the benchmark the first-time round, hijacking the 2012 London Olympics by focusing on everyday athletes in every other London and in 2016, challenging perceived conventions of age, gender and adversity to create the most talked about commercials of the games. She turned the iconic swoosh into a statement for marriage equality in Australia and celebrated the influence of the US Women’s soccer team in the lead up to the World Cup. Most recently, she said something that needed to be said with the Nike Dream Crazy campaign, that no other brand dared to do. Throughout her career, her work has been globally recognized winning 22 Cannes Lions including two Titanium Lions, three Grands Prix along with an Emmy for Outstanding Commercial.
