Mike is currently Creative Director of Fast Company, where he oversees visuals for the magazine, website, social media, and events. Prior to that, he was Creative Director of Men’s Health, and has been in top design positions at Popular Science, Esquire, and Entertainment Weekly. His work has been recognized by the Society of Publication Designers, Type Directors Club, American Photography, and the American Society for Magazine Editors. He is on the Board of Directors for the Society of Publication Designers, and previously served as their president for the 2020–2021 term. Mike also is an adjunct professor at University of the Arts, where he teaches courses in typography and editorial design. Mike holds an M.S. in Communication Design from Pratt Institute, and a B.F.A. in Digital Art and Design from Long Island University. He is a terrible fisherman, a decent runner, and lover of all dogs.
