CREATIVE DIRECTOR / ART DIRECTOR / DESIGN DIRECTOR DRIVEN BY THE CREATIVE IDEA AND THE VISUAL EXPRESSION. VISUAL STORY TELLER ON MULTIPLE PLATFORMS RANGING FROM COMIC BOOKS TO THE SILVER SCREEN. INSPIRED BY BOOKS, SCIENCE, GAMES, TOYS, MOVIES, TV-SHOWS, COMIC BOOKS, FURNITURE, CARS, ARCHITECTURE, CLASSIC ART, FASHION, DESIGN BY NATURE, HISTORY, CULTURE, PEOPLE & LIFE. 25 years developing creative communication. 20 of those years at LEGO, leading creative teams producing advertising campaigns and communication design targeted kids of all ages. I possess a strong storyteller gene that comes from reading comic books and watching way too many movies and tv-shows as a kid. The main source of my creative energy today, comes from growing up with the toys and comic books of the 1980s. Apart from design and creative communication I have co-developed and produced several LEGO tv-shows – LEGO NINJAGO and currently LEGO Monkie Kid, to name a few. Originally from Denmark I have lived and worked in different parts of the world – both in the US and lately in China – where I built the early cornerstones of the local Agency Hub. Today I head up the Design Innovation Team at The LEGO Agency in Denmark. We are responsible for the delivery of all Design and Visual Identities for our LEGO product franchises and the LEGO Masterbrand.
